About Dev Johnson

Dev Johnson was the Principal Bartender at Employees Only in NYC for more than 10 years and is a partner for Liquor Lab. He cut his teeth starting his career in 1995 at Chaya Venice in his hometown of Los Angeles and found himself at Employees Only in 2008. He took the first place with his winning cocktail “The Jones Act” for Don Q Pureto Rico’s Premium Rum.

3 oz Kokuto Shochu (Brown Sugar), Jougo Kokuto, Amami Island-Kagoshima
1 oz English breakfast tea
1/2 oz simple syrup (1:1)

Stirred over ice or served warm and garnished with an orange twist in an Old Fashioned glass.

3 oz. Kokuto Shochu (Brown Sugar), Rento, Amami Island-Kagoshima
2 oz chamomile tea
3/4 oz honey ginger syrup
1/4 oz lemon juice

Stirred over ice and garnished with lemon twist or candied ginger in an Old Fashioned glass.
