About Jeanette Perez
Jeannette Perez is a bartender whose approach is deeply rooted in her Mexican heritage, where making people feel at home is a core expression of love. Hospitality has always been second nature to her, and bartending allows her to create warm, inclusive spaces where everyone feels celebrated. Since joining her home bar in 2022, she has embraced the rigor of craft bartending, blending her analytical mindset with a passion for service and education—contributing to her bar’s Spirits Bible and writing about shochu to make it more approachable for her team. Her experience navigating a male-dominated industry has shaped her mission to challenge outdated norms, advocate for representation, and create a more equitable future for bartenders. Looking ahead, she hopes to open a bartender-owned space built on collaboration and shared value, and expand her role in spirits education. For Jeannette, bartending is a platform for creativity, connection, and lasting impact.
