INankai White Oak is a single-distilled blend of shochu from 80% artisanal kokuto sugar and 20% rice in vacuum and atmospheric pot stills. Expressions used in the blend include shochu cask-finished in American and French casks for 3-5 years on tropical Amami Island, Japan. Crafted at 24% alcohol by volume for easy sipping and food pairing.

About Nankai Shuzo
Machida Shuzo, an acclaimed distillery situated in Amami Island, Japan, is renowned for producing kokuto shochu, a style of shochu exclusive to this region. The distillery has garnered recognition for its innovative approach, being the first to employ reduced pressure distillation in the creation of kokuto shochu. Notably, all of Machida's shochu products are aged in tanks for a period ranging from 3 to 20 years. In addition to its own line of products, Machida serves as the sole producer for Nankai Shochu, a prominent Los Angeles-based shochu brand with a focus on introducing shochu to a wider audience in the United States.
