Satsuma Kuro Godai is crafted using carefully selected sweet potatoes and pure spring water sourced from Kanmuri Mountain in Sasshu Ryozen. Traditional techniques honed over generations are combined with the use of black koji to create this distinctive shochu.
When enjoyed with hot water, the refreshing aroma and natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes are highlighted, while water or on the rocks brings out the unique flavors of the black koji along with a crisp, delightful taste.
